The Century 21 Real Estate company was founded by Art Bartlett and Marsh Fisher in California in 1971. The Calgary Real Estate Board was formed to serve the needs of professionals in the real estate business. Their primary function is the maintenance of the MLS (Multiple Listing Service). Originating in the early 1920s, The Calgary Real Estate Board was registered in March 1929 in accordance to the Statutes of Alberta.
